In this video, we explore our first two days in Vietnam, starting with the vibrant streets of Hanoi Old Quarter and ending with an unforgettable cruise experience in Hạ Long Bay.
On Day 1, we checked into our hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and explored the city in the evening. We took a Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour for about one hour (around 500 INR), which is a great way for first-time visitors to see the highlights of Hanoi. Later, we visited the famous Train Street and explored the lively Hanoi Night Market, known for its street shopping, souvenirs, and local atmosphere.
On Day 2, we traveled from Hanoi to Halong Bay in a comfortable limousine ride arranged by the tour operator. During the journey, we stopped at a pearl farming center where we learned how pearls are cultivated.
After reaching Halong Bay, we boarded the Apollo Cruise, where we were welcomed with drinks and enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch while cruising through the beautiful limestone islands.
After lunch, we had the option to choose between kayaking or a bamboo boat ride, and we chose the bamboo ride since we were traveling with family. The boat took us to the famous Sung Sot Cave, also known as Surprise Cave. Visitors need to climb around 400 steps to explore the cave, but the stunning rock formations inside make it worth the effort.
We ended the cruise experience with a relaxing sunset tea session, enjoying drinks and snacks while watching the beautiful Halong Bay sunset before returning back to Hanoi.
This video gives a complete experience of Hanoi city exploration and a Halong Bay cruise adventure, which are must-do experiences when visiting Vietnam.#vietnamtravel
